To ensure you can leave your pet in my hands with peace of mind, I am comprehensively and professionally insured. Here is what is covered:
- All-Round Protection: I hold a business liability insurance specifically for pet sitters, with coverage of 3 Million Euros for personal injury and property damage.
- Custody Damages (the pet itself): Should your pet unexpectedly suffer an injury while under my supervision, treatment costs, etc., are covered up to 60,000€. This is often excluded in standard policies, but it was very important to me that you can know that I am fully insured!
- Key Loss: Since I am given access to your home, the loss of keys (including the replacement of locking systems) is insured up to 100,000€.
- Loss of Pet: Coverage also exists for the unlikely event that an animal escapes.
- Additional Protection: Damage to rented property (e.g., if something in your home is damaged) is also covered.
